School Life

St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool offers a variety of ancillary classes that the children enjoy several times per week. All children participate in motor skills, music, character education, library, and chapel. In addition to these activities, our older classes also enjoy gardening, science, library, and cooking.

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church offers a variety of after-school activities for ages 3 and up.

We offer Camp for 4 weeks during the summer to enrolled students.

Our Library is available to all families and we highly encourage parents to check out.

During the year, our children stay busy with classroom celebrations and school-wide events.

Family Events

We love to celebrate holidays and special events with our SMEP families throughout the school year.

Fall Fair

We love to celebrate our school and the cooler weather in Houston with rides, games, music, and fun. Funds raised go to the playground and other curriculum items.

Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day

Every November, we invite our students’ grandparents and special friends to spend the morning with us, including Family Chapel.

Donuts with Dad

Fathers and grandfathers are invited to SMEP for a special Go Texan breakfast.

Mothers' Day

We celebrate all mothers and grandmothers with a gift and Mother’s Day treat in the classroom.

After School Activities

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church offers after-school activities through the Activity Center, available to children ages 3 and up, with a wide variety of activities, including dance, Legos, gymnastics, and more. Please contact Coach P. for more details.

Summer Camp

St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool offers weekly summer camp sessions during the months of June and July. All current students are eligible for the summer program, regardless of age. Registration begins in February.

Preschool Library

The Library at St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool contains over 3,000 titles of picture books, non-fiction, and parenting resources. All parents and students are welcome to check out books. Our Library is funded solely through donations.

Parents may access our Library Catalog to search for books.
